In short, the higher the reading on the tension measuring instrument, the better the printing effect achieved by the mesh cloth. The tensioned mesh has the following advantages:
It can reduce the non-contact printing frequency of the mesh cloth during printing, and make the registration printing effect of the printing machine better. Compared with the printing press with loose mesh, the printing press with tight mesh requires less printing pressure. This sounds a little confusing, because the screen that is not fully tensioned needs to be lifted to a higher height to make the printing effect better. However, in fact, in the process of screen lifting, the printing press needs to provide higher roller pressure, which will greatly increase the probability of printing problems such as blade folding, stains and template breakage. Compared with those that are not fully tensioned, the moderately tensioned screen has a longer service life. The moderately tensioned screen can be more easily wrapped and recycled to improve the exposure quality of the template. The manually operated tension type wire mesh can only reach the tension state of 1 or 2 Newton / cm, and the tension distribution on the wire mesh is uneven. Compared with those screens with tension level of 40 Newton, this kind of manual tension screen is safe, but they can not get better printing effect. It's like driving. Nobody wants to drive a car on the road with its wheels not full of gas. Of course, the price of the small-sized repeatable stretched screen plate is relatively cheap, and users can choose according to their actual operation.
Expansion limit
If the tighter the better, why not pull the wire mesh to a tension state of 50-100 Newton / cm?
The tension that a screen can withstand is certain. If it exceeds this tension, the screen will break or fall off from the screen frame. Under the influence of tension, the net frame is easy to produce curvature, which will change with the size of the net frame. Generally speaking, the smaller the mesh frame, the greater the tension it can bear (30 n / cm or more). However, once the actual size of the mesh frame exceeds 3 square feet (even a little), the tension needs to be in the range of 15-25 n / cm. In addition, for those oversized mesh frames, it is necessary to use brackets or other support structures to prevent bending. Due to design reasons, some screens with high tension and low elongation will not be affected by the first problem mentioned above, and it is allowed to use screen plates with higher tension levels. In spite of this, the user Z still complies with the requirements of the manufacturer regarding the mesh tension level.
Mesh frame size
The appropriate screen frame size is defined by the printed image. The roller should be at least 4 inches away from the inside of the image frame (measured on the horizontal plane of the image) to meet the operation and shutdown needs of the printing press. In addition, the distance between any side of the roller and the inside of the frame shall be greater than 3 inches. In general, images with a size of 11 inches x 15 inches need to use a frame with a size of 17 inches x 23 inches (at least) in order to eliminate printing problems. The larger the space around the printed matter, the easier the printing effect will reach a high standard. If the distance between the image and the screen is too narrow, it is easy to produce corresponding printing problems in the printing process, including printing stains, edge leakage and distortion.
